Hello! My name is Mrs. Samuelson.
My husband and I live on a farm southwest of Pocahontas and have three children. I have been teaching for Pocahontas Area for over 20 years. I graduated from Pocahontas High School, received my BA from the University of Northern Iowa, and finished my master's program from Morningside University. I am one of your child's third-grade teachers this year. We are departmentalized in third grade, so this is the first year that the students will switch classrooms for different subject areas. I have the third graders for the science curriculum. We work hard in third grade to learn lots of new things.

My daughter, Ashley, is married and is teaching second grade in Pocahontas. Her husband, Brandon, is a PE teacher in Rockwell City.
My son, Jacob, graduated from UNI and is now teaching in Marshalltown.
My youngest son, Cael, is a Junior this year at PAC High School.
My husband, Mark, works in Laurens at the John Deere Implement.
Daisy is our chocolate lab and Millie is our cavapoo.
